SnapVault values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our app.

By using SnapVault, you agree to the practices described below.

We do not collect or store any personal data on our servers. All user-generated content and inputs are stored locally on your device.

However, we use Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics for the following purposes:

a. Crashlytics

Used to diagnose crashes and improve app stability. This may collect:

  • Device type and OS version

  • App version

  • Crash logs (non-personal)

b. Firebase Analytics

Used to understand general usage patterns, such as:

  • Feature usage

  • Session duration

  • Device type

This data is anonymous and used solely to improve the app’s functionality and user experience.

2. How Your Data is Used

We use the information described above to:

  • Monitor app performance

  • Fix bugs and crashes

  • Enhance user experience

  • Improve features based on general app usage

We do not:

  • Collect personally identifiable information (PII)

  • Sell or share your data with third parties

  • Store your data on external servers (besides Firebase’s secure environment)

3. Core Features and Local Data Handling

SnapVault’s key features are fully offline-capable, and your data stays on your device:

  • Image Quote Creator: Customize images with quotes. Saved locally.

  • Video to Audio Converter: Upload and convert videos. Output audio is stored locally.

  • Festival Post Generator: Add business details to generate shareable festival posts. Saved only on your device.

You are in full control of what to save or share.

4. Third-Party Services

SnapVault integrates only with Firebase for crash and analytics reporting. We do not integrate with:

  • Ad networks

  • External APIs

  • Cloud databases or external file storage systems

5. Data Security

We take steps to ensure that any locally stored data is secure. However, since storage is on your device, we recommend:

  • Enabling device-level security (e.g., screen/app lock)

  • Managing who has access to your phone or files

6. Children's Privacy

SnapVault is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect or process any personal data from minors. Our app is designed for general audiences and is intended to be used by individuals aged 13 and above.

7. Updates to This Policy

This policy may be updated periodically. Changes will be reflected with a new 15 march 2025 at the top. We encourage you to review the policy regularly.
